It says song . . . and I get a trippy song/video here. It's very vivid and description is big in writing. Good piece.

Liked the line "full blown color".

Problem was the melodrama and angst gave way to farce. Control it a little better, less is more, and subtley is more effective in poetry than a sledge-hammer. Even when you're going for the Edgar Alan Poe effect you can't pile it on all at once.

But you can clearly be evocative when you need to be- just tone it down a little so it doesn't end up a joke.
