| pneumothorax 2005-06-16 ch 1, | abuseAlot of your poems tend to be colder and articulate like the first two verses of this, but the 'how many of us wanted to be painted pretty' was far more personal, and from then on it was alot warmer. The use of 'us' and 'you' made it that touch, rather than passive text like 'beauty can be found'. You might think it's disjointed/random, but it works well. Nice phrases in there: 'flickershot lens'. I like the third verse most. The fourth verse is encouraging: 'but now you take your own pictures'. Beautiful verse, this and the former. |
