Reviews For: Brotherly Hate
Simian 2005-09-21 . chapter 1
I'm sorry, it cut out the last part of my last review. I was basically saying that if you had provided more than one source, it would be credible. As it was, you made some mistakes (we can go over them in an e-mail, if you like) and only quoting from one source made it more propaganda than an informed essay.

Other than that, I really like this poem. Especially the last part. Chilling.

"The bond of brotherhood this could tear"

Sorry I didn't log in. Only a quickee, and you can delete it if you wish, but...

If I said to you while you were drinking Chicken Noodle Soup or cappucino or eating that fresh bagel, "I don't like the smell, and I don't like how it kills me so go somewhere where it doesn't affect me... jerk!"

Would you not think I was being extreme? Why is it not the same for a cigarette, which is as deadly as your toilet paper?

My point was that everything we touch, eat and use is poisonous, so why target cigarettes when they only cause ONE type of cancer that isn't even as painful or deadly as the others, which are caused by everything else?

BLEACH is the number one cause of cancer. If you take organic tobacco and wrap it up in an unbleached paper, you've got no problems. Sure, there are some pesticides, but only about as much as that apple I mentioned.

It really bugs me that people target cigars and cigarettes while ignoring the fact that they're wiping their asses with a piece of paper that has been coated with the cause of breast, colon, skin, lung etc... cancer.

I don't like the smell of polluted air or coffee OR the fact that it kills me, but what am I to do in a society that seems to WANT to die?
