The first CC..Kal seems to lose his anger fairly quickly at Mikaila's words.

Also, why would the people accept the rule of a lowly Drow regent so easily, if the Queen had disappeared? Wouldn't the nobles of her court, at least (if she's got a court, there're going to be nobles), think that something fishy is going on?

Wow, awesome...the quest is finally beginning for real.

Only, every now and then you get somewhat redundant. '...they had spent the next two weeks rebuilding Aithwayth’s muscles that had been well preserved but needed some rebuilding.' You used rebuilding twice...

But other than that, great story. I can't wait to see what happens to Queen Aithwayth next.

Ooh - great plot! I totally like where this is going. Nothing I can really argue about...slightly fast-paced perhaps. But really...I had to nitpick to find that. I look forward to more.

it was a long read, but definitely worth it. it leaves me with a wow, i don't really know what to say... but could you tell the reader how you pronounce the characters' names? i really want to know... keep writing. =0)
