It hurts. This poem actually does, it hurts. I love the irony of the first and last stanzas - the way that the first time you read those lines you just take it on face value, and then the second time it's very bitter and ironical. It's one of those things that you want to change with all your heart but no matter how much you try you'll never be able to help. And this poem conveys that helplessness.

Also, I love the repetition of the idea of 'three' in the fourth stanza and the way it carries on into the fifth. Amazing in every degree, great job.
