Very interesting. I like the last line a lot, it is very self explanatory and a great conclusion. Some of it could have been tightened and streamlined, but overall very good. Would you have crumpets with coffee? I would have them with tea...~Caremel

Initially, the 'we' irritated me because it's almost too collective - e.g. reactionary against it; "I DON'T!" But the use of 'I' was much better, and I liked this part (us is survivable because it doesn't seem to force the reader in agreement).

And the ending - I love it. Nice job, soldier :p

I had to read this a few times to try to understand what it's all about, but I like things that aren't always immediately obvious. I'd be interested to know what sparked that in your mind. Interesting anyway.
