You know I disapprove of politics, but this was enthralling. You write very passionately, as ever!

Since you’ve long fashioned yourself a social wrecking ball of a satirist, no one can ever be sure if you’re being straight with your readers. I’m sorry, but your expansive career of making up down and right left has moved you from ambiguous to just noise. I can be sure your aren’t being candid, I can be sure your true opinion is counter to what you express- it always is- but I don’t know what the opposite exactly is.

I assume you believe the elite media and official un-elected Washington are just an Agnew bogeyman, because you, based on your history, never actually present your real opinion (I hope).

What I’m getting at is that your paradoxes, your ambiguities, your parodies and intentionally convoluted arguments, you sarcasm, and every other tactic of obfuscating argument have rendered your pieces meaningless noise.

Ah, another commie bewailing the growing insignificance of the planning state, the very phenomenon I celebrate and find great hope in.

The WoT is empty jargon and has never been otherwise. A convenient Theory of Everything that powerwhores can sweep every mundane third world tribal conflict anywhere on the planet into for instant political leverage.

You’re right though, the masses are just dumb enough that they’ll buy this nonsense if there’s another attack. They did the last time.

Come on, we -all- know the long term effects of social security concerning one or two disgruntled generations is -far- more important than people dying or monitoring terrorist attacks while keeping the publc alert to each and every step taken to prevent them. ... Right. I agree with you completely. While I'm still not stable on my position with beginning the war, now that we have gotten this far we must keep pressing hard and quickly. Bush -is- failing to do this miserably- he's like a child who can't wait to start something exciting, gets bored with it, and then moves on to the next before finishing. It's mind blowingly frustrating. However... I think you're a bit too ** 'journalism' in general. Televised media, yes, of course, but not all written material is bad or biased. Anyways... nicely written. Harsh and clear with clever word play.
