beautiful...I absolutly love the ending. I love the line "to feed my soul and feel myself becoming alive", love is like an awakening. wonderful images. A reply you left me on the poem "Fire"-I used to have more love poems on fictionpress, but no one ever reviewed them, so I took them off. I'm not sure if romantic poetry is something I'm good at, I feel like I'm still trying to place my feet on something solid as far as love. A beautiful poem, it has such a tender tone and shows the speaker's vulnerability and dependency (in a positive way) on the other person, portrays a sweet, tender love. I like it very much. The "walk me home" somehow brought to mind the book/ film "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks - don't know if you know that?
