Wow...I love almost all of your characters. And I'm really enjoying how you're doing the dialogue. Also have no idea how this is going to end up, what with pairings and all. *interested*

And is ANYone is this story straight? (Once again, rhetorical, so don't worry about the answer.) I think Steff happened...but she's had one line and therefore doesn't count. Not that I'm complaining (I say, as I click the 'next chapter' button) XD

oh, wonderful chapter! At the start, Wynn seemed to have no redeeming qualities to justify River and Evan liking him, but now i makes sense. Poor River. I hope him and Casey get together now, though for some reason the idea of him and Evan is stuk firmly in my head. Maybe it's just because Evan is so wonderful! (love love) You write really well:)

Talk about the perks of dating a doctor. You could get excused for "ambigious medical reasons" as often as you liked, with a legitimate doctor signature and everything! Will's suggestion of a "project on something like the gay porn industry and how it’s evolved through the last century" is an excellent idea, indeed. Heh heh heh.

Yes! Thank Goodness, it seems that River is finally completely over Wynn. Now all he has to do is move completely on to Casey and all will be good in the slash universe. (I have the most insane urge to now yell "Quick River, jump Casey's bones!")

River's so cute. And cute in an utterly selfless and fangirl-inspiring manner. He's almost my favorite character all-time out of all of your writings... but then I remember how much I adore all of your characters, and then it's too hard to choose. But he's definitely way, way up there.

*laugh* Like I said, I adore them all. Evan constantly makes me laugh. He's so confident, it's refreshing. Here we go with another quote: "Evan smirked. “I win.”" Made me laugh so hard. He just pops up with this little declaration, totally random and unabashed. Love it.

Hahaha, yes, Wynn is definitely a "tough nut." (Actually, just tonight my exchange-student-sister and I were discussing the various uses of the word nut. *peals of laughter*)Like I said- Lecherous.

Yes, that's exactly how to describe Evan- "Flippant and caring and levelheaded at once." And it's exactly why I can't get enough of him!

Wa, I haven't read this story in way too long! I missed the Evan and Wynn bickering/interaction. They're delightful! And Wynn has even begun to counter Evan's jokes playfully now... SO cute.

*choke* I can't believe Evan just warned a boy to keep the bandage on or his arm might ROT OFF! Wait, no, I can believe it. Goodness.

Love the story. Just wanted to mention a small typo, which had me double-taking.

-“River!” Evan called, smiling cheerfully. River started, his head snapping up and he turned to smile at Evan.

“Hello, Wynn.” River greeted quietly, changing direction to walk towards Evan.-

I'm assuming the "Wyn"n is supposed to say Evan. I kept checking back after I read it thinking I was hallucinating or something. Lol.

Okay, so I've slogged away and have finally made it through all these chapters...and I think I've found a new favourite fic.

The chapters were all utterly brilliant- they were wonderfully three-dimensional and realistic in their mild quirkiness. The way they interacted with each other was wonderful and I just...well, I loved every word of it. I have to admit that when Evan first showed up, I thought 'Oh great- another one of these' and was tempted to stop reading. If a main character really irritates me, I often find it difficult to read on sometimes but thankfully I did with this one, initially because I loved your style, and then just because I was hooked. Hopelessly.

And of course, there's the fact that Evan didn't turn out to be 'another of those' and is in fact . *lol* A doctor with piercings and dyed hair? That, I like. ;)

Wynn was just...I swung between wanting to smack him for being such a misery-guts and also wanting to *squeeze* him for being such a misery-guts, but all in all, I think he was my favourite character in this fic. I also adored the unstoppable force that was Will and Perry once they got together.

There were just so many scenes and lines in this fic that were so wonderfully 'quotable' (a good thing in my eyes, as it shows that it made an impact on the reader) and so well written. In fact, the entire story was *very* well written, in every sense of the word. It had such a great sense of fluidity to it and I'm SO glad I discovered this fic once it was completed, as I know that there would have been times where waiting for an update might just have killed me... *lol*

Anyway, I better stop before this turns into a long, pointless ramble (as if it hasn't already).

Ah...That was a good story... But what happened to the nosey old lady? She was an essential part to the story!

Awesome story! Very enjoyable. River's little thing for Wynn died out really suddenly and the spontaneous pairing of Riv/Case and Wynn/Ev were a bit stiff, and seemed like you couldn't put all you wanted into revealing the main charries past. I love the story through. I especially like the random facts. _

Firstly, I think I can quite honestly say that this fic was the best I’ve read on Fictionpress. You kept every chapter interesting despite them being long, whereas usually longer chapters can start to drag yours didn’t, and every character was really well written and developed.

There are two favourite lines for the epilogue: ‘and Perry marvelled for half a second that, hey, they were making out in their apartment before deciding that Will’s tongue was more important.’

And,

“It’s because all of her culinary talent goes into making French toast, so there’s none left over for anything else.”

Favourite character in the epilogue: ALL OF THEM (Sorry for some reason that just had to be written in capitals)

The scene with the paint and River’s face was great and strangely ironic for me because as I read it and as I’m writing this there are annoying people painting the walls in the next room, getting more on each other than the wall. Very weird moment here.

Casey and River are still the sweetest couple ever and totally deserve each other… and a new stove. Of course.

I enjoyed that Casey bribed gangsters with cookies to get protection but personally I think they should have packaged him up and sent him to Antarctica or somewhere equally as cold and deadly. Though knowing him he’d just beat up the penguins like he did to Casey.

Overall, Wynn had to be my favourite character for the whole story; I loved his sarcasm, his moodiness and his interactions with Wynn. He was the funniest when drunk as well.

Heh, it’s a pity about no sequel but to be truthful, the way you’ve left it is perfect and anything else could ruin the story a bit. A friend of mine always says ‘leave them wanting more’ and you’ve done that perfectly (though she’s a chef and was referring to food…).

Anyways, amazingly fantastic story and I can’t wait to read any that you come up with in the future.

Oh yeah, I was going to say it was a pity we didn’t get to hear more about Teigue and Marin but then I found the muffin story about them while I was writing this and read it. I loved it.
