I don't have very many classes with friends I know, but all my classes were with a girl who was popular and appeared to have a much better life than mine (good looks, etc.)I avoided her for fear whatever we talked about she would just go behind my back and say...but once she opened up to me, I realized I needed her to just be there to talk to me and listen to me, help me not feel alone anymore...she is part of the reason I did not fall into the trap of sucide a year ago. The regular student always looks at the jocks and popular students judging them for snobs because they first judged us as geeks or whatever else, but perhaps it's the other way around too. Thank you for this perspective, keep writing.
