I loved how you wrote the tanka!

I like the haiku better, the tanka uses too many words that are not really needed to get the message across, although one only comes to recognize this in comparison with the haiku. The haiku is perfect, it says all that needs to be said in concise form, and the idea you express here is really good, gets one thinking.

i like the haiku better - the tanka is too "wordy". Nice job.

I like the haiku best. The tanka alone stands well, but when compared to the haiku, just seems too verbose. But both are very meaningful.
