breakdown in the waiting room 8/31/05 . chapter 1Adore the ending. Really must read the book you mentioned. Love the emphasis, and this piece. The format is one of my favourites, it's so honest and raw and truthful, which is what poetry should be. Very clever in some places, espcially about the graphing, and great imagery, like the couple against the church. I would work on using different vocabulary, like substituting the word "crap" for something different; it makes the meaning a bit deeper. But overall, fabulous work. I'm putting you on my faves. :) |
euphemismsforlukewarmtragedies 8/20/05 . chapter 1wonderfully written.(i came to thank you for all the positive feedback & for putting me on faves) but thank God i found this! i love the angst. fave line - (“I could plot it on a graph, negative correlation.”) great incorporation of that analogy ) |
first-casualty-of-war 6/28/05 . chapter 1It's unique- not like most poems I see on here. I liked it |
Manda Falcon 6/28/05 . chapter 1Wow. This is really well done...Its really rather captivating to read. |
in theory 6/28/05 . chapter 1Brilliant. I got lost in this, surprisingly similar situations to my own too...great job. You made a seemingly plotless and pointless piece of writing into a seductive, mind-tickling mini-story. |
