I must say that this is an excellent prologue. It's really captivating and very well written to boot. I have no CC at this time, because I'm in no position to improve on this. So, forgive me for writing one of those - hey, this was cool, please update soon - reviews. :)

OMG, this is even more awesome than what you explained to me the other day. There are some typos here and there, and the reason for Bert being there could be explained a bit. Just a little. I think it would be fitting to put in an explanation of him sometime during their ride on the boat. Anyways, wonderful story. I'd critique it more for you, but I'm really tired. And my imagination is just running wild after reading this! :D

i am in total awe i love this story! you write really well and you've taken this stupid cliched idea of alien invasion and twisted it into something unique and captivating, making the humans fight themselves, and having killing be the ultimate downfall. your characters are so human and i'm just in love with river, he reminds me of an older version of my Ree for some reason. i think i will seriously cry when he dies. write more!!

You've got me interested! I like thigns that deal with infections. This almost reminds me of the Andromeda Strain.

omg that's HOT. awesome writing, i love the way it gives a detailed yet not overbearing background story that just grabs you from the first sentance and pulls you off for a crazy ride. :D :D :D
