Very visual, and a marvelous representation of a very difficult form to write in. I like how this bridges the gap between dream and natural reality so succintly. And I agree, "Colorblind", is an excellent song. Quite the Counting Crows fan myself. Good work on this, I like the atmosphere that you've created in this.

I was checking out your profile after you reviewed one of my poems, and look what I find. The title especially made me curious, it's beautiful and somehow gutsy, doesn't really roll off your tongue but sounds...I don't know. The only problem with this poem's that it's too short. But that may be me, I tend to prefer unecessarily long poems. The lines are simple and yet packed with images, my favourite would probably be "early morning chill/lies frozen in the streams, now and forever". I loved all the lines, though. Write more!

I like the repetition of the line "Though all is as it seems" as if you expect the reader to assume that it's all fake and unworthy of spending time dwelling upon. Beautiful imagery, though perhaps a little too much repetition outside of my favorite line. :-)Thanks for the review!

As is the custom, I decided to check out the works of one so gracious as to comment me and I have found myself to be in for more than I expected! Whistfully brilliant to the extent that I feel the urge to use bad grammar to express; I especially enjoyed the lines "A shattered silver mirror/A crimson leaf steeped in gold". The description brings to mind partially forgotten memories, a lovely style
