Ah, it's you with the Shawn obsession. Quite sad, although the a more effective ending might have been to return to the 'present time' (parallel the lien as 'someone cared'?). Either way; the ending seemed very much abrupt in comparison the the original scene in which she is older. In my opinion, like I've said, you need a relevent link the original scene to finsih it. But it's good.
