Tool Fanatic 2005-08-03 ch 1,	abuseHeh, I try not to laugh, but when you reach the death toll of "Ah yes 50!" I can't help it. I absolutely agree with the "freedom fighter" **. If that's fighting for freedom, they're apparently selfish or grew up with misconceptions of how to correctly achieve their freedom. -Em (I love your writing James, you know, it's just my reviewing skills are rather pathetic as of late.)
No Trust 2005-07-13 ch 1,	abuse“Warriors fight battle against superior forces and win.” I was unaware of this definition. “These terrorist have no capability to fight against real fighters, they can only go after soft targets.” That’s how modern war works. You attack the softest targets you can. Not saying it’s right, but selective moral outrage just makes you look retarded. “That's not manly at all, that's wimpy.” Maybe, but it is nonetheless how modern war works. Some people drop bombs from planes, some people set them up covertly, some people strap them on and go banzai. “Don't they realize that if the US ever decided to target civilians there wouldn't be a single person left alive in the middle east?” Since, as your ilk would have us believe, the Moslems have had access to anthrax, smallpox, and nuclear weapons since like 1650 (and it’s all the Democrats’ fault), I’m sure they could do much more damage if they wanted to. But that would be far less likely to further their ends (assuming they are not simply CIA/MI6/Mossad proxies designed to remind the populace, from time to time, how much 'we' need their benevolent overlordship) than limited terror strikes. Likewise the US in fact does engage in terrorism (again, it’s indispensable to modern warfare). Not genocide, mind you —terrorism. Both sides could kill significantly larger numbers of civilians if they really wanted to. That doesn’t mean either of them are good guys. The fact that Charles Manson spent at least some of his time doing stuff other than sending his minions to murder people doesn’t make him a good guy either. “If you want to earn respect fight some of our Special Forces” They do, with mixed but not altogether unimpressive results. “As soon as you start killing people indiscriminately, you step outside the rules, you are terrorizing people to achieve your ends.” Morale Bombing, Shock and Awe, etc. “If you’re a freedom fighter, truly a freedom fighter, go fight a war of passive aggression, of democracy and of the people like Martin Luther, Luther King or Ghandi.” I suppose this rules out the likes of George Washington. “For me there's a definite line, if you cross it, you aren't protected by a string of morality and may bombs fall on your family... ** Islam, still stuck in the Middle ages, the fundamentalist Catholic mentality, they can’t live let live, they can’t tolerate, they see it as an offence to God to let people with different view points live. We should treat them like we treat an individual who cannot live in a society, as they seemingly can’t live in this global society.” It’s true some Moslems are as collectivist as you are, are incapable of percieving people as individuals as are you, and thus deserve to die as you do.
shinco 2005-07-09 ch 1,	abuseI agree with you, James! I really do I can't believe anyone would call the Islamic terrorists "freedom fighters"! Oh, but the one thing I saw in there was "an offense to God". They're not fighting for our God. They think that Allah is like... EVERY god there is, but they're so wrong, and I hate Islam too! They're fighting for nothing, killing others for they're own selfish pleasure! It makes me sick to think that anyone could bomb such innocent people! What did London ever do to them? NOTHING! If they did, they DESERVED it! Gosh, I just wish these terrorists would stop, ya know? Muslims say "we love peace, we don't kill people", but then if someone from Christianity or Judaism or probably even Buddhism comes along, Ka-POW! They blow their heads off! It's just really sickening, and I'm gettin' so sick of it! Good write, I'm glad you wrote this! It inspired me to write a poem about terrorists and how wrong they are! ^_~ I'm sure glad you're not a terrorist! ^_^ You're on the right side, buddy! ^_~

Mbwun 2005-07-07 ch 1,	abuseI see you recieved to stunningly brilliant reviews already, so I shan't even try to reach their height of intelligencia with my humble words. I will say that, for a rant, this is fairly intelligent and well thought out. If this weren't written hours after a tragedy, I would say it was poetic. In some areas, it's less powerful, though, especially in the callousness with which you spoke of the deaths of people--British, Iraqi, and Afghani. (** terrorists--anywhere--they aren't people.) I suppose, ultimately, you're right, though--if the US and the UK were targetting civilians like their enemies are, the Arabic language would be a memory, along with all who spoke it. ~He Who Walks On All Fours

Lay off the potty mouth James, might be more effective... haha, no it's always your way of getting a point across. Emphasis on the: "“Ah yes 50! God that was good.”" I shouldn't even be laughing but I've been contemplating the same things as you, and it's hard not to when such a mere, tiny atrocity has happened to plague the world with news of 'terrorist attacks'. randomunknown 2005-07-07 ch 1,	abuseIm sorry, did i miss something? It hasn't actually been proved that it was islamic extremists, Al Qaeda etc. Spare your swear words and 'passion' for people who have lost members of their families and are utterly devastated at this.
