I don't mean to tell you anything you've not heard, but these are not haikus. Haiku is more about nature, season, and simplicity than syllable count.

I read a fantastic article that I found from a google search about translating the intent and essence of the haiku into English. You should try and find it, or anything describing what haiku actually is.

That said, these are not bad poems, and I don't mean to imply they are. They are simply not haikus.
