There's no consistent meter to the poem...At first it seemed to be written in a kind of heptameter, with a meter:

/ / / / / / / (the slashes representing stressed syllables)

but later it deviated from that. I would suggest having a more consistent meter. It gives it rhythm, it makes it sound more like flowing water.
