| Morbane 2006-05-08 ch 1, | This all makes a lot of sense, except for the title. Why is it about a midnight train? (I'm really sorry: I have to admit that in choosing to read this I was partly attracted to it because I like trains.) I like the rhythm of this. It has a sort of inevitability. Can I say that or does it sound too empty? Final point - very poignant, very true. It's a complex realisation, the implication of the anonymity of the 'other woman': that she's only an idea in your head and so although she's a somewhat justified target, it is impossible to direct emotion at her. But you put it so much better, of course. |
| Brian Eyre 2005-12-28 ch 1, | Outstanding imagery. You've told enough of the story that we can all understand the emotion, without going into so much detail that we can't all relate. You've accomplished what I think all poets should strive for. |
| my dangerous angel baby 2005-12-23 ch 1, | I don't really know what Staccato means but this was awesome. Great job! =) |
| Gaelwyn Vom'Raven 2005-11-06 ch 1, | This flows very nicely. It is full of pent up emotion - despair, pain, helplessness, and many others. It strikes home to a place inside each of us that we try to keep hidden, but know all too well. It makes my breath catch... |
