I know what you mean about the fascination with mental illness! Although some might say that be because I am mentally ill... But I digress. I liked the whole thing with the psychologist and her husband and coming back to this life, her life. And the phrase "Word Salad" sounds really weird (yet kinda cool in a twisted way). Have you actually heard it used before or did you make it up? Also, the begining three sentences are awesome. Oh and thanks for adding me to your favorite author list.
