Reviews For: Even The Thousandth Generation
Needa S 2006-03-08 . chapter 1
Beautiful. My piece Two Hearts I understand what you were saying. That piece was based on my mother. She passed away a few years ago and I still miss her. Memory lane I cherish. Awesome write. Keep'em coming. Thank you for your reviews.
Manuel Fajar 2006-02-01 . chapter 1
Three hundred thousand generations now,

Or, more or less, since we split from cousins,

That wanted to remain in jungle deep,

But, we took off to span the breadth of world,—

From icy pinnacles to desert sands,

The Lord's domain we did subdue and tame,

Domesticating dog and horse and fowl,

'Til only our wild hearts remain unchained;

We learned to write and speak of history,

Black scribbles that describe our infamy,

And all our mad delusioned prophecy,

To tear red heart out from our neighbor's chest;

Yet in the innocence of one child's face,

There's more hope than long speeches of great men,

For someday we will find a cure for war,

When what is born's more precious than what's dead.

That was beautifully written and oh so true!! So much love was strung into this piece. I believe God did give you the greatest gift of all, Katie, your precious daughter, may the Lord bless her tiny soul!

This is so real and so honest. I sincerely hope that you can overcome the difficulties prevalent in the Now, and find joy in the future. I did not think that my poem was written well or smoothly as I have done in the past, but the emotions tied in there, and the feeling with which it was associated, moved me to write it. I just had to get it down and I felt better after doing so.

Your poem rendered me very breathless because its beauty is not fantasy but reality. It is truth and deeply connected to You, and I can feel the pain and the love within. I dearly hope that everything for becomes resolved.
