The first thing that caught my eye is the rhythm and flow of the lyrics is extremely fluid and conveys a tone with it, not something a lot of song lyrics do on their own merit without the music. (The chorus is especially good with this.) Nice shift of the final chorus to "kept her there". My only note would be to combine verses 1 to 2, and 3 to 4, making for less choruses and a lot smoother feel. Wonderful work on this.

This was beautiful. I dont think it was cliched...I think it was put in your own shoes type piece. I love the chorus, especially the last line. Your right this is everyones own path until they find Jesus. Bravo for such a beautiful reminder of our own journeys.
