You are entirely correct on both of your assumtions. I did base the origami crane on that story, but I took it a bit out of context and changed it to fit my purpose, and yes, the butterfly and samuri are from the DDR song. A friend of mine, the samuri called me his little butterfly and the song Butterfly was the song we use to DDR to all the time...

Wow. I would never be able to restrain myself to a certain amount of words. That's definitely a talent! Heh heh, and it was easy for me to read too... A nice little break from the longer stories on this site.
