wow, clever, and the ending of each is surprising, not what I expected. Hunters must be deaf, really. And I liked how you ended the haiku about death with a seed of hope.

just a quick note, I think "The sweets sparrow sings" is supposed to be "The sweet sparrow sings", right?

and I could see and hear the tree fall when I read the second line in the second haiku. Awesome job. Simplicity says so much.

I don't usually review haikus, but since I read this, I figured I may as well. I like the second one, about the death of a tree. Explains reincarnation in just a few easy words. Good job.

"The Sparrow's Song" is written with a bitter tone, while "The Death of the Tree" leaves the read with a more uplifting sense of hope. I love them both.

I love haikus! I wish I was good at writing them...I can't remember if it was 5-7-5 or 3-4-3...or if they're both right...anyways. I think this was nice.

i love them both! they are both special in their own ways. i love how, in "the death of the tree" you created a mood of sadness that the tree dies, but the seed is like a little ray of hope shining through the dark. keep writing!

I think the format for haikus is very fitting for this subject. I think that the last line of the last haiku is short of a beat, but it's still good...nice job!

i liked both these haikus alot... i loved the line 'hunters must be deaf' in 'the sparrow's song', and the message in 'the death of a tree'... kind of a 'when God closes a door he opens a window' type of thing... very inspiring... also, idk if u did this intentionally, but deaf and left sort of ryme, which i think is cool b/c it kinda connects the two together more... well neway, gr8 job... keep up d good work...
