That's awesome...I'm seriously wondering what exact story is behind this, since the scene is vague in my head, but that may be one of the best parts of this. The ambiguity works in this case, it leaves us to interpret this in any number of cool ways. I really love the ballad-like rhythm you have here, and the internal rhyming, not to mention the occasional archaic word thrown in to give it that ancient feel. Please enlighten me if this is about a story you're writing, I'd be more than happy to read it. :)
