i am going to assume that you are constantly evoked by negative experiences/events that you wish you could forget them all...yet your fear and/or guilt prevents that from happening. just my interpretation but i could be wrong. thanks for sharing and keep writing!

For some people, they can't be forgotten long enough to thumb the knife... But beautiful poem, it shows the birght parts of life, gives reasons to hold on... and a slap of reality with the last few lines.
