I'm sure you've heard this before...But don't take such a friendship and love for granted. Someone still growing (cough, teenages, cough) is only as good as the friends they can rely on to help them through it all, to learn from and to be accepted by. Having your mother there as an important 'guardian angel' is just simply amazing. Beautiful, and emotionally overwhelming poem.

Aw, that was so sweet... I'm sure your mother will love it. The first two lines were absolutely touching. :) I wish I could feel the same way about my mom, or at least about someone, but I'm glad there are still people who find this kind of love in the world.
