Aww, no! Poor Molly! *runs off to cry in a corner*

Absolutely nothing constructive to say, but that's nothing new, is it? *sigh*

Aww... poor Molly. I've never heard the song before... is it pretty? The tune, I mean. Yeah. Wow, I'm pretty dumb today, I really shouldn't even bother. You've got to be sick to death of me by now.

I think the Pointless Albatross is mentioned in 'Interesting Times' as well. "Six thousand miles on one herring and a small jar of fish paste."

...Right, like that had anything to do with the story. Sorry, I'll just scarper off now.

That is so cool! I LOVE the song, though it did always freak me out in that abstract way nursery rhymes tend to do. You've done really great job portraying her hard life... And the end is just beautiful.

You know, I'm sick right now and that was a really, really good description of what it's like to feel like crap. When Molly shut her eyes, I wanted to shut my eyes, too.

And btw, I feel like an imposter. I wouldn't have the slightest idea of the correct usage of blond/blonde *blushes*. My grammar is truly atrocious; anything 'correct' is nothing more than luck.

Very lovely and sad. My Mum used to sing this song to me as a child, and I think it's so well done in this story. I like how she didn't die in a bed. That's the way I always envisioned it, but this works as well. - Scarlett

Goodness, this is a wonderfully writen folk-tale! I absolutely love and cannot wait until Molly's spirit comes back and haunts those 'oh-so proper women' who had turned their noses up at the poor girl who wanted nothing but to be healthy. You have crafted such a beautiful story, and I am so excited to see what comes my way next! One thing though, in the 12th paragraph, the line 'crying her throat hoarse in praise' you spelt wrong. Just thought I'd mention that! :-) Great story!
