It is great! I like the little sarcasm and feeling you find behind the words, like "But they hear, and secretly, they believe. Oh, they believe." Cute! ^^

It is really good, ambiguous but I like that. As a reader, I still don't know what his role is, but I like that, the fact that he is so superior and uniquely preserved that his role will remain unknown - like God almost.

He is hugely egotistical, but the character trait is necessary for the story to develop. Good job!

This was definitely a different approach to storywriting. Unless, of course, you mean to continue it, in which case I must say that I hope you do. This is really interesting, and I hope you continue it to unravel all the mysteries about Frederick. But if you don't continue it, if you originally saw it as being a one-shot, then that's alright too. Happy writings.
