In a world as dark as this, it need a hero. Is Demetri your hero? Merely on a quest to find his sister... but certainly he has to find a role for himself.

Your character Demetri goes through two different parts, his past and his future. Your intro was different certainly, sort of a flashback and then present. Wonder what happened to Katricia? Actually, this leaves me wondering a bunch of things, but that's what a first chapter is supposed to do, right?
