*cough* Right. I like this poem so much because of the way it flows. Normally, poetry tends to have some sort of scheme to it, and I rather like this one. I especially like (love) the last four lines. :)

the first time I read it it seemed to go by really fast, but the second time, it went very slowly...

I like the last verse. The first line 'But you are here. Real.' seems quite tender and idolising, and the rest of the verse works really well against that.

LizardKing! You posted it! Wow, that’s awesome. This is so beautiful (read: not at all lame, like you said it was). You can feel everything that you’re going through in this piece. The sort of uncertainty but affection, the subtle, wordless expressions, the dance that is there to feel each other out. I love every line of this, but the end was especially powerful because it says so much more than words could convey, and the pictures in my mind are beautiful.

I love it all. Don’t ever stop writing. Please. :-) I think I'd hurt you severely, if you did.
