Her mother was a greedy, money-grubbing ** who always thought of herself." But how he could think that when he isn't so far different from the mother? He could have spared her life also. I mean, he kidnapped then killed her, and got paid a nice sum of money. The only innocent person had to die because of the greed of others. Great, if somewhat morbid, story! |

I thought your characters were a little inconsistent (ex.: when John is about to kill Jane, he feels nothing except a "tiny tinge of regret," but he obviously cared enough to go to her funeral.), which made it seems less believable, but other than that, it was good. |
