The Inkslinger 2005-09-22 . chapter 1Heh heh heh. Just called in "sick" to work, so here I am. Finally.
And *love* I am more jealous than ever of your talent with imagery. Every time you floor me with it! Heck, you think I'd be used to it by now, but no, you're improving and depthing/expanding your descriptions continously. *sigh* I really am envious. How do you come up with them..?
Also! What I adored in this was, through the first three or four paragraphs, I could not only picture but pretty much -feel- the flowing, rolling motion of time. Wonderful illustration! Gosh!
And you said you were inspired by Hellsing? I can see how... but before I forget, I have to mention that her dress sounds so sweet. I've got to get myself one of those. (But in green.. yah, that sounds good).
Lastly, I love this: Human time is a mere drop in the ocean of this massive river. It ebbs and curls over everything, leaving nothing behind. Not even me. Things move, change, grow, and inevitably die.So beautiful.
Alrighty then. That's enough for now. Til next time!
