First verse is the best in the entire poem. I know you write now for yourself, but when you get into publishing, I'd recommend shorter poems, or at least pared down. Remember what the transcendentalists said - don't use any word that doesn't add to the meaning of the poem. C'mon, you liked that unit!

A passionate outcry, Whitman-esque and heartfelt. It leaves me breathless.

As a whole, it is not my favorite work of yours. But the last lines do have a gripping, strong quality that I like.
