In some or the other way, Alagan could be taken as a word in Tamil which means handsome.. or beautiful male.

I absolutely loved your stories. It was better than some of the westerns I've read by published authors. I absolutely loved the plot and the romance. It was so good. I have to admit that I did cry when Chuck died, but I guess it all worked out in the end. I loved Mercedes and Diego. Thank you for writing such an awesome story.

Wow, I loved it! I'm a sucker for a good Western Romance, and this one was lovely. I agree with you on the abrupt ending, but the more I read it over, the better I think it is, because it ties in with Diego's overall "One kiss and leave" attitude." Again, nice job!

It was wonderful!

I had to look it up first, since I wasn't positive of where I had seen it. Guadalupe is a river and a county just east of San Antonio. I recognized it because it the county right next to my Grandpa's and the river is the same one we play in when we visit him!

Anyways, thought you might want to know that. It certainly is a Texan/Mexican word, but...I think it is in the wrong section. Ah, well who cares! Don't feel bad, I rarely research for my stories, unless I'm really serious about it.

I'm very happy that Diego and Mercedes FINALLY got together. It was very sweet, how she was different from the other girls, but actually just as gullible to his charms.
Does Mercedes mean anything? It's a lovely name...If I'm pronouncing it correctly that is.

Is that where they are? Hmm...I have relatives in TX, see so I'm trying to envision it. My grandpa lives in the nicer green part, not near El Paso.

El Paso. Aii! It is a horror. I live in NM, so I'm not too unfamiliar with it's deserty characteristics. I actually love Texas, and I love Tejano!! Well... not really. I'm still have mixed feelings about him...

Hidalgo. I love that name! I'm part Mexican, and a Texan at heart, so I'm really going to enjoy this one!

This is by far your best story. There are obviously many things to fix and polish up. There are grammatical/mechanical mistakes, syntactical errors, diction/word confusion, punctuation,etc. There are plot dynamics you need need to work heavily on and just a plethora of other things. BUT, I really feel this was your most enjoyable, loveable, substantial and just GOOD story.

I mean this only as constructive criticism but Cats and Dogs is a horrible story. It moves from here to there, the characters are bland and flat, there really is no plot, and it is disjointed, unmemorable and a thorougly unenchanting read.

BUT I loved this story so much- it is on my favorites list! I think this is because you have created two very real characters- you get such insight into Mercedes and Diego/Tejano/Hidalgo. THe depth of the characters far surpasses any of your other stories. You have also created a story- the setting is amazing. The untamed lands, scorching prairies, dust, forbidden creatures, the culture of the cowboy heritage. It is just so feisty, spicy and enticing to read. There is so much color;your other storys dally in shades of mute gray.

The relationships you develop are also another attractive focul point. The relationship between her and her father, her aunt, the Indian "father". Especially between her and hidalgo- it just seems heartfelt, genuine and really great to read. The romance between them was very well portrayed and developed. I really can not convey to you in words how much I thouroughly enjoyed reading this- I've read it twice! The plot, the action, the adventure is enthralling! The romance is superb!

This story needs a major edit but it really is wonderful and I implore you to write more storie in this genre- you really come alive on paper here. This is also your most popular( as far as reviews go) story so that should be a clue. :)

Keep working- you have talent( despite Cats and Dogs- I was very disappointed when I read it after Untamed because I thought I would be reading another wonderful story and it was just so lackluster- I'm sorry, but it seemed as if a 13 year old were writing the story!) BUT you have to cultivate it. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this story! So, hopefully I see more updates from you in the future! I have started reading Lathom Manor( your writing has improved and matured) but lets see if the story keeps my interest. :)

wow i love this cowboy romance. The background is typical, but the story is well told and detailed with the story of the stars and the legends. mercedes seems a little weak willed with her scared antics but i guess it does make the men feel protective lol. I dont know if Diego will be able to give up his cowboy tendencies but this is a good way as any to end the story =D
