I just wanted to say how amusing your story is. As an engineering major, I sadly know too much of this science stuff ;-)

One comment though...if Lucan is 7 years older than Jane...that makes him 24. But if he's a TA, he's either 2-3 years older than he should be OR he's in graduate school...I personally think you should make him 21 or 22 and a jr or sr in college...but a 1st year grad student at 22/23 would work as well...

PS. Just one teenytiny thing: when naming a species the scientific way, the epithet doesn't start with a capital letter. And yes, that's the only thing I could think of to improve this story :D

Hi! Wow, this is the 1st FP story I read that's not a one-shot and I love it! I love Rafe and Jane too. :D I especially love the locker notes that Rafe leaves for Jane, the ones with "Love Rafe" on them. It's so sweet.
And I forgot which chapter this was on, but the composition of air is 78% nitrogen and about 21% oxygen, not the other way around. :)

Ok I just have to ask: were you on crack when you wrote this?! if not where did you get such a crazy imagination?! and such a gift for wording?! I am awed by your writing. I don't get half of the math references (I was always more of a history geek) but wow, I don't think I've ever laughed this hard when reading something.
Your characters are really original and well fleshed out (like original stereotypes if that makes any sense lol) and the premise... I mean wow. Everything about this just screams cliche but you've turned it completely on its head and made something extraordinary and completely original out of it. And I really mean that. This story is absolutely amazing.
Please tell me you will be publishing this/other works of yours? Haven't gotten to those yet but if there are some I definitely will.
Just whatever happens, don't stop writing because it's clearly your calling. That and anything to do with science and/or math :p

Haha! When I first started reading I tought that it would be another of those cliché stories, you know: a super nerdy girl and a super bad boy, but god she's so funny! XD It is so funny to read about someone who's a bit crazy intstead of a complete pushover. XD

you got me laughting like crazy ... my parents thinks i'm barmy now ! i just love the caracters totally unusual, the genius and the irish bad boy, so funny.

you really have a way with words and image (the irish sweeper !). It was really creative, but i must confess that i was sometime i little bit lost with all the math and comparison to physics law, but again that's probably because i'm not a english native.
