I don't feel the pressure I have with other poems to understand it EXACTLY like the author. To me, this was a happy poem. Well, not really happy, but an acceptance poem, a sit-with-pain-and-you-will-see-happyness poem. This is something I strongly believe in. It was a hopeful poem to me to with the contrasting elements and stimulations. It was a poem of all possibilities- the reality and the seemingly impossible. Very well done! It is definitely a favorite! |
