Leave it to me to read the last book of a series first and not even realizing it until I came back to review it. None the less, I loved this book. The characters were well written and felt real. The storyline kept my interest until the very end. If you haven't read the previous book, you will not be lost. The author managed to write a story that could stand on it's own even if some of the supporting characters had their own storyline in the other books. Kat is a strong character who's weakness makes you love her more. I truly enjoyed discovering Kat. Nick is the perfect love interest. Bad boy with a sensitive side. Misunderstood, but so is Kat... It's a beautiful story about learning to trust others and to trust your heart. VelvetWriter, you are an incredible writer and I do hope that you will write more books in the future. Loved Your Story!

Overall, I really liked this story. The relationship between Kat and Nick was pretty realistic and exciting. I just found Kate to be very immature sometimes...I know that's part of her character-faults-as all characters should have something wrong with them-, but it seemed like it was a repeated cycle as she pushed Nick away over a simple misunderstanding. It was almost too much drama to handle, LOL. However, having said that, I still read and enjoyed the whole story. You're very talented, and I'm off to read some other of your works!

I constantly say that I don't like stupid people. Well, right now Kat is one of those steeeyuupid people whom I dislike.

She acting like a bloody idiot, for chrissake. Can't she see that she's hurting Nick? Never mind herself. Ugh...

Aww... I am glad she finally got over her hangups and that her brother is okay with the idea of her being with Nick. I loved this story so much! I wish we could have seen them at the bar, watching a band with thier friends though...that would have been an awesome ending :)

I'll have you know I stayed up till 5am to finish reading this story. I am not exaggerating when I say this is one of the most gripping pieces of fiction I have ever read (and I read a lot). Finding that a great story is linked with fantastic musical content is baffling. Who thought I'd find a bunch of stories heavily featuring The Velvet Underground, one of my favourite bands of all time? Jesus, If it didn't make me seem odd, I would rant about this until I ran out of characters.

I read your stories once before, quite a while back, and just remembered them the other day and re-read them all again now. This is my favourite of yours and it absolutely has the best chemisty. Phew, I should stop now...but I hope you realise how good you are. There really are not enough reviews for your stories, which I am going to blame on the fact that not enough people have a good taste in music. So there.

Keep up the good work, I hope you'll write lots more.

this story is so good and totally deserves more reviews seriously. i always thought rockfan's musician stories are already one of the best in fp, but u totally brought it to a new level. the attraction between nick and kat is just so... good. lol

normally i'm not into musician stories but i quite liked this one. before i say anything else, i have to mention that i think you're using the word 'anymore' incorrectly/in the wrong context, in place for 'nowadays'. i noticed it throughout the whole story and i'm quite certain...you should probably check it out.

anyway, i read this story last week sometime and came back to review so i can't remember details i wanted to comment on, but overall it was quite okay :) so thanks !
