I loved this - it was so beautiful and so sad

I particularly liked the last verse, especially the first & second line:

"The lady of the moon, she restswhere it’s dark and no light hits…"

They were rather haunting

Bob Dylan, yes, but also distinctly similar to asomething by the Aquabats. You should check them out- they're wonderfully silly.

Mh, I love narrative songs, because.. well... they're cool?

I've only written two or three myself, and they weren't all that good, but this was funny and definately worth the long read.

This wwas brilliant...and yes, it was kinda folky. Kind of reminds me of the Counting Crows (but then most things do...) Anyway, I loved the surreal story-telling style you have perfected. It was excellent! My only criticism is that at one point you used the word "cuz"...one of my pet hates...I know it's song lyrics, but honestly, it's "'cause" if not "because"...

This is such an amazing piece. Only you could think of an idea like this (and that's actually a good thing, I think). Such a great ending and a great story.

lmao i love the poem. Its kinda sad though, in a way if you really think about it. By the way, my poem "The Awakening" is kinda based off of Tool's "Third Eye". I LOVE tool and Maynard is so smart that its hott and.. yeah... Great Poem! :D
