I love the title line. "She comes to me like a hallelujah" is such AMAZING imagery. "We kiss in colors" is so real, because it hasn't occurred to me that anyone wouldn't. "this is our religion" defines the whole poem. This is beautifulbeautiful poetry.

strange and beautiful. I don't think I could ever understand the true meaning behind this, but I still enjoyed reading it. especially:

"Jesus walks the water/no figure just a flashing/red light./We kiss in colors/that smell of comfort/feather/in our hair/Our hearts hang on grapevines/pulpy purple flesh bursting/through tight skin"
