Faithless Juliet 2006-01-29 . chapter 1
The best that I’ve read from you so far! The unabashed romantic - I think we all have a little of that disease. It’s the condition for most writers to live primarily in their minds while the rest of the world calls us crazy. We can be all alone in a room but we can talk to, and feel the people that we create around us. I think the rest of the world will never understand that about us. We’re contented and never alone, because we can create anything and anyone that we want.

I like how you duel against reality in this; the modern version of yourself, with the superior (I could have been/wish I were) version. I think that we always favor the part of ourselves that doesn’t exist. It’s easier to explain away all of our faults and shortcomings. Very nice.

Juliet.

i love this. the french added to it makes it seem ten times more romantic, this poem is an illusion. it's beautiful.

Hey! Awesome work as usual. Loved the wordplay and your imagery was delicious. I enjoyed it immensely!

Really beautiful. It would be cool if, when you put the french in there, you could do a footnote or something to say what it means for those of us that don't know. But a nice piece here, I like how you very subtly play with words in places; it makes it interesting to read.
