Reviews for Death it comes so suddenly

Wow powerful. Hey look for my death poem "Don't Weep For Me," I wrote it for my grandmother's funeral.

Life is so often likened to a candle, so it lacks a bit of originality, but this is well told. Very sad. The last line is a stark contrast to the rest of the poem, yet it is so very true.

I really like this poem. I love how you explore the candle metaphor. It's a wonderful piece of writing.

Good poem, lucid with vivid imagery. Usually I am leery of aliteration, though it is ok for humor or spoof, however, your ,' soil of the soul,' is pretty good.

And I was smiling when I wrote, 'In the stream,' I have no complaints, this format is what it is, there are just a lot of entries, and for me at least, reading is a deliberate, thoughtful and relatively slow activity, here it is kind of like a race. later dc
