Well written, evocative and inventive. A mafia operative would most likely look... Italian.The main character who had been a man of 25 or so thinks and speaks in a manner which is totally consistant with that of a girl in her later teens, if his guyness is completely gone then it seems the only dilemma remaining is the more common one of memory loss.As for a title suggestion, you might consider 'eyes', as in the concept of viewing life through the eyes of another. later dc
