It sucks when you lose someone and at first, your feelings are so strong you wonder how you can ever recover, and a part of you don't want to. Not at the loss of that person. But another part of us understands that it's beautiful when the hurt passes into acceptance and we come to appreciate the fact that wherever they are, they're in a better place. I think it just means that the healing has begun, not that your love for them is any less. I like the flow of this poem though, congrats on that.
