I love your style, the way you described your characters' feelings and thoughts. They were so realistic, it's like you make them come alive in your stories, and I can just imagine the situation in my head because you made it that way. The whole mystery spiced with romance is something of my favorites, and I'd love it if you could continue it even though it looks perfect just as it is. I've always thought that a good writer inspires people, and you're certainly one that does. I'm sure you've heard that alot, but I'm still going to add you to my favorite authors' list and author's alert. Keep writing! ~ MD

Jeoal 2005-09-17 ch 1,	abuseYou know what? You really do need a second part. Not only because I would love to see it but also because this story is just not finished. There’s so much more that I know you’re going to do with it, and I’m just floored because of that. I can’t wait to see it. :-) I want to say that I love Jared’s character all-around, before I tell you what really pushed it over the edge for me. When he said, “I’m fine. I’m a **’ pro. I can handle this.” I got the most intense of character feeling then. He’s come off, in the entire one-shot, as this very independent guy (which doesn’t mold too well with another, equally independent guy, like Tom) and that just made it so fierce. For him to say that, to deny Tom’s help was just so powerful. I don’t know. That moment really stood out for me. As well, the emotion between them was so strong. In such a short time, they had gotten indescribably crazy over each other. Maybe that was a little to do with Jared’s sensitivity to emotion, but it came from both sides; it was shared. That’s something that you don’t see everyday. It even transcended their time together. It was something that they’d both gotten used to over the years, waiting for something that never came – and so suddenly it did. They didn’t want to let go of the power and rightness of it all. This idea was so marvelous, if you haven’t heard that enough already. I loved the stipulation from the cops that psychics were somehow lower than them, “crocks”. That added another dynamic that really just made everything so much more on-the-line and do-or-die. Tom knew that if Jared didn’t find anything, he’d be screwed and all the other cops in his department would mock him incessantly. But he had more than just his reputation on the line. He, I would dare say, had more on the line with Jared than he did anyone else. He could stick up for his beliefs easily – there was no saying that people would believe him, but he could. With Jared, everything was different. He had to approach things differently, he had to think differently. He wanted Jared and he wasn’t going to let him go. Like I said, I really want to see more of this because it just has so much potential that is too grand to capture in one installment. I want to see where you take Tom and Jared, where the case goes (if you’re going to focus on that), what happens with Kevin, maybe a little more on the candy store, while we’re at it. ;-p This was so great. Can’t wait for you to continue! (and thank you for the dedication - that was so nice of you)

Nikerym 'Ksherea 2005-09-14 ch 1,	abuseoh, yay. that made my morning. ^_^ Jared's awesome, with the baking and the psychic-ness, and the nicknames. ** cop. heh. i like Tom too. he's amusing, and i like his dedication and his willingness to work with a psychic when all else fails for his one case. though the dragon thing - was that actually a reference to her snappiness or something more? and i would love to know more about Kevin and Tom's relationship. and what actually happened in the case. but it's fabulous in any case, a wonderful one-shot. ^_^
orbicland 2005-09-13 ch 1,	abuseThis was wonderful. Just the right combination of inner turmoil and confusion and falling for each other, at least on Jared's part. I liked it immensely even when a ladybug flew into my face repeatedly.
