This is some creative writing you've begun. Some other slideshow ideas might be: women voting - 1920, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Speech, the Colombine Shooting, Flood of 1993, Brown vs. Board of Education, Transcontinental Railroad, Lewis and Clark, Terri Shivao, and the Columbia Space Shuttle.

I think this is a cool idea...trying to get people to accpet our pasts in good and bad, and offering a learning experince. I will say this is definitly a neat idea...try adding depth to your writing to make it more clear...or offer headings and dates to each of the events in history. Keep up the great work.
