I honestly can't see what is confusing about this story. I shows a side of death that is easeful, slow, and comforting in a sad portrait way. I think it's very nice, and gives a semi-vivid image. But the feeling you get from it is stronger.

I love the metaphor in the first sentence (which is strange because I'm not at all good at making metaphors).Its a very interesting topic to write on (only few have), and believe me; you have done NO injustice. I applaud you wonderful work...I report that I found no errors to pick about so I give you thumbs up. YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! I think I'm going to read that other story of yours soon.
