the ever faithful hairpin 2007-02-01 ch 6,	abuseGosh, where to start? ::grins:: I liked this. The premise and the characters. Everyone's so well-fleshed out and I love ::loved:: Shaomi, and Caeli and I admire Kyesa for his constant happy-go-lucky take on life. The couples are all so sweet together as well XD I couldn't help cheering Shaomi on at the end and waiting for Shaomi and Caeli to get together at the beginning. And I actually felt almost sorry for Cade at the end . . . almost. The different plot lines wove well with each other and I loved how you handled Tiras as a Seer--and how he acted with Leir, not afraid to backdown even when everything was so stacked up against him. And his ::faith:: in Shaomi freeing him had me wibbling XD So yes, I really enjoyed reading this :D ::adds to favourites::

orbicland 2005-10-28 ch 6,	abusenote: this is sicksteen but I changed my name. Oh, my, god. You have finally finished, after me feeling like it was forever, but it is not and now it is done. Also, it is twenty to eight and I am very exhausted and my brain is going 'not now... but not later either.' So I am reading anyway, because the not later works for me also. I feel badly for poor Tiras, it is not his fault it is part of the plot that he is captured and manhandled. Manhandled, I say, and not in the good way either. This doesn't involve groping of any kind, or at least any of the good kinds. Not yet, but I am not nearly finished. Also, I like how you have him accepting what's going on, not that he's given up, but that he doesn't go 'omg i want to kill myself so i don't have to go through this' all the time, cos that would help no one. I am curious, now, all of a sudden, about relative ages cos Connor's kind of acting like this adult leader figure [not to say that he isn't] but really, what is the age comparision? Is it different for the mages to the... not mages? I don't know, I'm confused. But that could also be from reading far too much harry potter fanfiction, possibly. I'll just ignore my questions and read with the light of twenty questions answered. Man, Leir and Cade? I don't recall who Cade is but sheesh, golly gee, that was unexpected. But then again, sort of fitting, after the way Caeli was treated for similiar discretions... although that was the whole mage-not mage thing, rather than the whole same sexy thing, wasn't it? I keep picking out these little things that I like, but completely forget about the bigger picture such as 'it is a good conclusion cos all the ends tie up' and 'the tone of this piece is true to the others' and stuff like that. It's all true, by the way. I just love it to pieces. Six of them.
sporkess 2005-10-28 ch 6,	abuseWow, great story, I'm really glad you finished it. My greedy soul is wailing for a nice fluffy epilogue, but it does stand fairly well on its own. I just hate for stories to end. I'm glad Shaomi and Tiras are now together, and also that you didn't fall into the trap of making everyone totally understand the mutation, and isn't this all lovely! It's much more realistic to have Connor a bit wary. Leir is evil. Evil. Will the mages there in the forest now just have no power? Will that mean that they can no longer defend themselves from the monsters? Would they just die, or would they flee to the cities? By the way, you don't accept anonymous reviews. I don't know if you knew, so I just thought I'd mention it.

Naomi Schemer 2005-10-14 ch 5,	abuseIntense. I love the story, and the plot is wonderful. Leir is more then a bit creepy...I would like to see him suffer in the end. Shaomi is cool, if a bit annerving. Ky&Cae are the sweetest thing...no other way to describe them. I can't wait for the next chapter..but I kinda can, considering it's the last.

I just meant to say that these are all awesome and the day I don't like one is the day I lose all credibility cos they are just that good. Also, the Shaomi-Tiras is something to look forward to cos they are just so cute and promising. Promising to tumble lots.
