You wanted some feedback? For this story, everything felt so natural. I've been having trouble writing recently but the way you wrote this, like everything flowed naturally. I really liked it. The image of her grandpa had me almost teary. For better emotional impact, perhaps if we had known more about the boyfriend it would have been better. Or if you had created more tension in the climax of them meeting. But yeah. :)
