"No chains on my feet or hands,

Freedom calls out to me,

Yet I go back into my cave of Solitude,

To frail and afraid to know the new."

That part, the end, among it all, that i felt was the best, i mean yes the whole poem was unbelievably good, but that part just touched me, it gave me shivers because i've felt that way so many times. thank you for sharing such a fantastic poem

Kira, I officially heart you. Even more than when you came to the bbq. This reminds me of Platos "The Cave" read it and you'll understand. When you read it in class, I think that maybe you should show your teacher

"My skin goes cold, damp it freezes,"Perhaps put, "Dam it freezes" in parenthesis

"In this hellish cave that makes me want to puke."It was very poetic until I came acorss the word "puke" Find a different word.
